My favorite store to waste time while my wife is shopping. There is always a sale i can take advantage of and the staff is always friendly and helpful. Commission based retail is a good business model. I always find a way to spend money there as well.

It's a supermarket of computer parts. And of course TVs and printers. They will build your computer if you want them to or you can just go around and buy all the parts and take it home and put it together yourself. Extremely friendly and knowledgeable staff. Which is good for the business because no business would be successful without a good working staff. Management chose right when they picked. the staff. Plenty of parking handicap accessible.

Outstanding service reminding me of the good old days when i used to shop at J&R COMPUTER WORLD across the street from City Hall and the Brooklyn Bridge back in the 1990's and early 2000's. Staff are extremely knowledgeable as my brother inlaw who has been building me computers for over two decades was looking for parts to build me a new computer before he retired from his Federal job in I.T. and move to Florida. Our desires were met and much more as i ended up with the computer of my dreams which will easily last me for eight years and is very upgradable. Pricing and parts availability is unmatched where i was able to get a i9 12900k instead of the i7 we were planning to get and we even found a RTX 3080 with 12gb of vram at a great price instead of getting the 2070 we had planned. This along with the great case, motherboard, power supply etc made for a fantastic experience along with the very friendly professional level and knowledgeable quality staff and of course my brother inlaw who built the pc for me after lugging that big box of parts onto the bus and carrying it a few blocks to my building. A true saint and friend as he is to all he surrounds himself with. Thank you Micro Center for incredible satisfying experience which has made for an outstanding gaming experience playing the likes of STARFIELD, DYING LIGHT THE BEAST, BALDUR'S GATE III etc especially during these times of change where what works is made stronger in its excellence.

I’ve been to both the Yonkers and Westbury Micro Center locations, and honestly, these stores are just incredible. Every time I walk into one, it feels like a dream come true for anyone who’s into electronics, computers, DIY projects, 3D printing, Arduino, networking, or just technology in general. The best way I can describe Micro Center is that it’s like RadioShack and Best Buy had a baby—but in the best possible way. You get the huge selection and energy of a major electronics store, but also the hands-on maker and enthusiast culture that feels personal and genuine. What really sets these stores apart though is the staff. The employees actually take the time to explain things to you. They don’t immediately pressure you into buying the most expensive item or rush you through the interaction like a lot of retail stores do now. You can tell a lot of the people working there genuinely appreciate electronics, computers, and the maker community themselves. That changes the whole atmosphere of the place. I’ve had conversations there that felt more like talking to another hobbyist or technician than talking to a salesperson. For someone like me who enjoys learning how things work and experimenting with technology, that matters a lot. Honestly, stores like this are becoming rare. Micro Center is one of the few places left where technology still feels exciting and accessible instead of sterile and transactional. Five stars without hesitation.

If you are old enough to remember what it was like to go to a really cool computer store like CompUSA where are all of the cool tech computer stuff you jumped about buying was all in one place? Triple that feeling and you are in a micro center. For those of you who have never been to a place like that, this is your chance… They have literally every cool toy and gadget. From the whole line of DJI products to 3-D printers, every gaming controller known to humankind, all there to behold. This place is the chief example of why in person stores rather than Amazon deserve a place in our lives.

I want to give a huge thank you to Andrew W. for the exceptional customer service he provided during my recent visit to Micro Center. He helped me exchange a faulty microphone and keyboard that I had previously purchased and made the entire process smooth and stress-free. What really stood out was how far he went to help me find the perfect setup for my gaming needs. Andrew took the time to understand exactly what I was looking for, went into the warehouse to locate a product I specifically wanted, and even helped me discover a few additional products that completed my gaming setup and brought me closer to the level of gaming experience I was aiming for.
